We believe in working hard, creating great experiences, and having fun.Perennially listed in Event Marketer Magazine's Top 100 It List and Promo Marketing Magazines Top Suppliers, we also have won multiple Ex Awards, Event Technology Awards and Pro Awards, among others.Experience Is Everything.ROLEAward-winning, Chicago-based, experiential marketing agency is seeking a solution-oriented Assistant Account Executive (AAE) to support best-in-class event marketing & experiential programs for multiple clients/brands in various industries.RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with all elements of planning, execution, and wrap up of client events (primarily Grand Opening events)Provide support to Account Team in managing national marketing programs including all day-to-day activity associated with the AccountPrepare program planning documents including client weekly agendas, training manuals, production schedules, etc.Assist with program budget tracking and billingManage inventory and all company/program assetsResponsible for weekly paperwork, post-event reports, goal tracking, and final reportsMonitor and gain an understanding of client's industry and competition through trade publications, newspaper articles, and other researchResearch, contact, and establish relationships with vendors in multiple marketsAssist with securing permits, branding/signage, and other production elementsRun weekly status calls with clients and vendors; manage relationships/project with outside parties such as PR and other internal client departmentsManage on-site execution of events such as event production vendor management, DJ queuing, line control, internal meetings, and event activity coordinationClient interaction and client servicesSome travel will be requiredREQUIREMENTS0-2 years of experience in marketing, including promotion, event planning and client services; agency experience preferredProficient level MS OfficeProven ability to be a leader and comfortable running client callsExcellent oral, written and interpersonal skillsConfident in budget tracking and ability to manage against client objectivesAbility to handle multiple tasks with keen attention to detail and thorough follow through; must maintain calm and confident demeanor under pressureFlexible, willing to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekendsSocial, outgoing; able to network, develop and maintain relationshipsKnowledge of event planning, production/set up, and vendor negotiation skills preferredSelf-motivated team-player; interest in outdoors activities a plus (but not required)Ability to travel and commit to schedule before program launchBachelor's Degree required (Communications, Business, or Marketing preferred)SALARY & BENEFITS$40,000-$42,000/Year - An employee's pay position within the salary range is based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance & travel requirements.Medical PPO & HMO options, Dental PPO and Vision PPO InsuranceNo cost Employee Assistance Program through medical insurance providerCompany provided Life, AD&D and Long-Term Disability InsuranceAdditional optional voluntary Life, AD&D, Disability and Accident Insurance401K Retirement Savings Plan with company match18 PTO days/year with increased PTO accrual rates after 3 years of servicePaid Holiday SchedulePre-tax Commuter and Parking BenefitPet InsuranceHybrid Weekly Schedule (3 days in office/2 days work from home)Text AAE667 to 312-629-4949 to start your application!
