Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Digital Marketing to lead and shape the strategic direction of all e-commerce and digital marketing e5orts. This senior leadership role will focus on driving sustainable growth, enhancing brand presence, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. As the Director, you will own the digital marketing strategy, manage high-impact initiatives, oversee budgets, and lead cross-functional teams to accelerate the growth of .com. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: • Define and implement a long-term digital marketing strategy to drive substantial e-commerce revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention. • Establish and communicate a clear vision for digital marketing, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives. • Identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities to maintain a competitive edge in the digital marketing landscape. • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to prioritize high-impact initiatives that support the company's growth trajectory.Team Leadership & Development: • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of digital marketing professionals across paid media, SEO, email marketing, social media, and content marketing. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the marketing team and across departments. • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, empowering them to excel in their roles. • Ensure cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, and e-commerce teams to execute cohesive marketing strategies. Budget Oversight: • Own and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to achieve maximum ROI. • Monitor and analyze spend across all marketing channels, making data-driven adjustments to optimize performance. • Report on budget utilization and campaign effectiveness to executive leadership. Data-Driven Decision Making: • Utilize advanced analytics to monitor and evaluate digital marketing performance, delivering actionable insights to improve outcomes. • Oversee the development of dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs, including ROI, customer acquisition costs, and conversion rates. • Use data to inform future strategies and pivot quickly when needed to meet business objectives. Customer Acquisition & Retention: • Lead innovative strategies to attract, convert, and retain customers, with a focus on improving customer lifetime value. • Oversee personalization, segmentation, and automation efforts to drive meaningful engagement throughout the customer journey. • Develop and scale loyalty programs and remarketing efforts to enhance brand loyalty and repeat purchases. Shopify & E-Commerce Platform Expertise: • Leverage expertise in Shopify (or similar platforms) to enhance the online shopping experience and improve operational e5iciencies. • Work closely with product and tech teams to ensure the platform adheres to industry best practices for e-commerce. • Champion the integration of cutting-edge tools and technologies to elevate e-commerce performance. Innovation & Industry Trends: • Stay informed about the latest developments in digital marketing, e-commerce, and consumer behavior. • Proactively introduce new tools, platforms, and methods to enhance digital marketing effectiveness and efficiency. • Position .com as an industry leader by implementing innovative strategies that drive growth and brand equity. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of leading successful e-commerce strategies for consumer-facing brands. • Extensive experience with paid media, email marketing, SEO, content marketing, social media, and web analytics (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.). • Advanced knowledge of Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms, including CRO and UX best practices. • Demonstrated ability to align digital marketing efforts with overarching business goals, driving measurable growth. • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making. • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
