What We Are Looking ForGVEC is looking to hire you for the position of Marketing Manager to deliver the unexpected with a willingness to continuously develop yourself, your department, and our organization. As a Marketing Manager, you will help generate effective strategies and qualified leads to fulfill the customer growth and retention goals for all GVEC services and special programs.How You'll HelpCreate Customer Acquisition and Go-To-Market Plans defining geographic and demographic targets as well as related lead generation tactics, timelines and metrics to meet business plan and sales objectivesCollaborate with the Marketing team to generate campaigns and monthly marketing plans on time and within budgetTrack and communicate results of campaigns/marketing plan activitiesAnalyze marketing results and recommend adjustments for successMonitor market trends and the competitive landscape for presentation and strategy adjustmentsResearch new providers and channels for targeted marketing opportunitiesProvide leadership, support and development for Marketing staffProject management as needed for general marketing projects, new process development and or implementing new resources and programs for GVEC and its members/customersOther duties as assignedExperience/Skills You'll NeedSelf-motivated with a strong work ethic and impeccable integrity to achieve resultsStrong critical and creative thinking skillsAnalytical in nature, with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive strategic decision-makingOrganized, detailed-oriented and adaptable to changeAbility to build relationships and collaborate effectivelyLeadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to work and lead within multiple deadlines, priorities and a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of diverse marketing channels, segmentation and the sales funnelAdvanced knowledge of working with Excel and other analytics dataStrong verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and confidentlyFlexibility to work after hours, on-call and/or in emergency situations as necessaryPreferred Experience/SkillsKnowledge of GVEC Electric, Beyond the Meter and Internet services and operations a plusPrevious experience in product marketingPrevious leadership and management experienceUnderstanding of marketing analysis and reporting toolsBachelor's degree in business, marketing or other related field (or equivalent experience)
