Position Overview:Title: Marketing Leader, Lake & SkyeLocation: New York, NYReports to: President & Chief Creative Officer/FounderCompensation: Negotiable based on experienceKey Responsibilities:The Marketing Leader is responsible for Product Innovation & Consumer Acquisition, Engagement, and Retention across direct (DTC) and indirect (retail) channels. In this capacity they will strategize and execute the 2-3 year product plan, as well as drive all PR/Influencer Marketing, Digital, Social, Performance, Loyalty, and Education marketing initiatives.The Marketing Leader will manage demand strategy (consumer engagement, acquisition, and retention), closely partnering with Commercial Retail to drive overall sales and growth in omnichannel. This leader will be responsible for developing and implementing the global marketing calendar, developing data insights from proprietary and market intelligence, defining digital and social merchandising programs, brand site user experience, and consumer experience innovation roadmap ("what's next"), in collaboration with Creative, to create and deliver on-brand products and assets for all marketing channels.Ownership of Brand-Level (working/non-working) and department Marketing Budget in context of P&L.Develop best in class,innovative and disruptive revenue generating and awareness building programs for B&M + Ecom inclusive of: Communication Marketing (Social/PR/Influencer/Affiliate/Events/SMS/Email), Performance Marketing (Paid), Promotional cadence and calendarization, Loyalty Marketing, & Education.Deliver strategic, robust and innovative 2-3 year product, GWP, PWP innovation plan.Brief asset creation as strategically appropriate and necessary for L&S retail channels and platforms.Collaborate with 360 teams (Commercial, Creative, Agency Partners) to leverage marketing intelligence and proprietary insights to improve the branded customer experience across touchpoints (product, digital, in-store).Define and own KPIs to continuously improve results and point of difference, driving deployment and ROI for all consumer facing projects within timelines and strategic brand equity codes and values.Lead and grow a team.Requirement(s):8+ years of disruptive brand marketing experience in omnichannel distributionStrong consumer brand digital background in modern marketing ecosystem (content, community, retention).Product development experience in beauty a must, in fragrance and ancillaries preferred.Proven track record of building out a department as well as managing a team of direct reports. Experience hiring/managing agency resources is preferred.Ability to provide thought leadership and drive collaborative decision-making in partnership with peers.Excellent leadership and communication skills.
