A well-established plaintiffs personal injury law firm is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling discovery, case management, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.Responsibilities:Draft and respond to discovery, including demand letters and mediation briefsAssist attorneys with case preparation and legal researchManage case deadlines, legal calendaring, and case filesOrder and review medical records and bills, ensuring accuracy and completenessSchedule meetings and handle client communication, including answering phonesUtilize legal software such as MS Office, Dropbox, Adobe; experience with FileVine, OneLegal, and PACER is a plusSupport marketing efforts if applicable (previous team member had marketing experience)Qualifications:Paralegal Certificate preferred, but a Bachelor's degree is required at minimum5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, ideally in plaintiff personal injury or civil procedure (open to candidates with at least 1 year of PI experience)Strong writing skills and attention to detailExperience with ordering and managing medical records and billsExcellent interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaborationSpanish-speaking is a plusAdditional Information:This is an in-person role requiring strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesThe firm values candidates who can handle multiple responsibilities, including marketing support if needed
