Finance Assistant

The Finance Assistant will provide effective support for maintaining accurate and timely financial records tracking and processing financial transactions for the company's Florida Regions. The finance assistant is also responsible for supporting the local Region volunteer leadership.In office Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30am-4:30pOne day remote either Monday or Thursday - 8:30am -4:40pmPay rate: $16 per hourResponsibilities: Processing receiptsPreparing bank depositsEntering vendor invoices and other disbursement requests into accounting softwareProcessing disbursement checksMaintaining financial filesPrepare spreadsheets, collect data, and explain transactionsTroubleshoot problems that arise, consulting "help" resources as appropriateQualifications:BA required. 3+ years of experienceHigh level of confidentialityExperience with Financial software like QuickBooks Online or equivalent.Basic accounting and bookkeeping skillsExcellent written, oral and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelDetail-oriented, precise, organized, and proactiveAbility to work independently and handle concurrent projects and assignmentsGeneral office skills including answering telephone, maintaining files, etc.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
