Commercial Lines ManagerAbout Us:We are a local independent insurance agency. We are growing our Commercial business and are looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Manager to join our team of professionals. The Commercial Lines Manager provides complete support for our Commercial Lines Department with expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance and do their part of ensuring high client retention for the whole agency. This position requires exposure to all aspects of this department with diverse day-to-day responsibilities.Job Requirements:P&C license3-5+ years experience as a Commercial Lines Manager (Preferred)Must have E&S experienceMust have leadership experience in commercial linesExperience working for an independent insurance agencyExperience servicing/quoting/marketing commercial insurance with multiple carriersMust be able to multi-task and handle a heavy workload with minimal supervisionEffective communicator (verbal and written)Working knowledge of a paperless system particularly with Applied Systems Epic management systemExperience with Microsoft Office and a proficiency in Word and ExcelExcellent organizational skills with attention to detailResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Work with Agency Principal, Producers, and Team MembersAcquire new business by identifying opportunities in the local market and cross sell of our current clients.Order policies and issue documentation, certificates, and binders as neededPrepare new business and account renewal submissions for marketing and proposals to obtain competitive coverage/cost ratios for clientsProvide exceptional customer service to our clients by developing and maintaining strong, long-term client relationshipsUnderstand and promote all products offered using all possible marketing toolsJob Benefits:Competitive PayRobust benefits package including health insurance, life insurance, 401k, PTO, dental insurance, vision insurance, etc.
