The well-established Pacific Northwest Personal Injury firm of Adler Giersch seeks anexperiencedparalegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a personal injury practice for our South King County practice, based in Kent. Our word-of-mouth firm has a rich 42-year history of providing exceptional service.The paralegal will work directly with a top AV-Rated law partner / firm owner with 24 years in practice and will have the opportunity to grow professionally in a highly functional, supportive, and team environment.Core Responsibilities:· Provide overall daily support to a law partner / owner, and concierge-level service to clients· Prepare and draft settlement negotiation demand packages· Track and meet timelines for deliverables· Facilitate client communication to include case updates, documentation, and scheduling· Organize and maintain case files including medical records and legal documents· Master use of the firm's electronic case and calendar management software· Communicate with insurance companies, attorneys and healthcare providers· Manage supervising attorney's case calendar· Assist in daily needs of the Kent office as-needed· Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to legal ethics and professional conduct standards.Qualifications:· Two-year degree and/or equivalent paralegal certification· Seven plus years of experience as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm· Excellent oral, written and organizational skills· Strong attention to detail· Thrive working independently, and also as part of a team· A natural "people-person" with high emotional intelligence and compassion· A proactive mindset to anticipate attorney and case needs and bring solutions· Excellent time management, case management and multi-tasking skills· A strong work ethic that is client-focused, team-oriented and driven by a passion for advocacy and excellence· Litigation experience is preferred· Fluency in Spanish is a plusBenefitsWe offer a robust compensation package, with a 401 (K) plan with matching contributions from the firm. The base salary range is $65,000 to $75,000, annually, as well as opportunities for generous annual performance-based bonuses. The compensation package also includes health, vision, dental, and life insurance, PTO, and paid holidays. Compensation may vary outside of this range, depending upon factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
