Job Title: Property/Household ManagerLocation: Syracuse, NYPosition Type: Full-time, Live-OutA prominent family is seeking an experienced and professional Property/Household Manager to oversee their private residence in Syracuse, NY. The property spans approximately 30,000 square feet and includes 9 buildings. This role will primarily focus on managing all maintenance tasks and ensuring the home is well-maintained, organized, and ready for any situation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a private home, with strong organizational and hands-on skills.Responsibilities:Manage relationships with 25-30 vendors, ensuring the smooth maintenance of the residence.Act as the primary liaison between the family and outside vendors, coordinating schedules and service.Supervise household staff, delegating tasks related to both interior and exterior maintenance.Maintain a comprehensive household manual, managing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual priorities (e.g., HVAC, technology checks).Coordinate daily/weekly meetings with the Principals, acting as their point of contact for all household vendors.Oversee household inventories, warranties, and operational manuals.Assist with moving and storing outdoor furniture with seasonal changes.Run errands as requested by the Principals, including tasks such as picking up prescriptions.Manage special projects and research related to household needs, vetting vendors, and reviewing maintenance agreements.Ensure the home is always guest-ready and assist with visitors as needed.Organize garage and vehicle spaces and oversee vehicle upkeep, including service, inspections, and registration renewals.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and overall home upkeep, assuming full responsibility for the propertys appearance and operations.Qualifications:Prior experience in a similar role within a private home is essential.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.Ability to manage and delegate tasks efficiently.Flexible, self-motivated, and proactive attitude.Willingness to work hands-on and assist with physical tasks when needed.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Must be discreet, professional, and trustworthy.Ability to work well within a team and manage multiple responsibilities.Looking for a long-term position with a demonstrated commitment to previous full-time roles.
