We are looking for a maintenance technician for our Kiawah/Seabrook location to support our vacation rental owners and guests. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site Maintenance Technician role located in Charleston, SC at Sweetgrass Properties. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, maintenance & repair, and industrial maintenance tasks.QualificationsEquipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skillsTroubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skillsIndustrial Maintenance skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailExperience with HVAC systems is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent**Full Healthcare FOR YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY 100% paid for, Vision and Dental benefits (available at your expense) and competitive PTO structure available after 90 days. Compensation is highly competitive AND BASED ON EXPERIENCE/SKILLSET.Position available for a qualified person to work on high end homes across the Kiawah, Seabrook Islands.Carpentry - High end finish carpentry - installation of interior and exterior doors, windows - crown moldings and wainscoting.Plumbing - Changing faucets, sinks, shower valves, p-traps, garbage disposals, troubleshoot/replace toilet systemsElectrical - Change out switches, outlets, lighting and ceiling fans, troubleshoot minor electrical issues.Computer/Technical - support with TV remotes, internet/wifi connection, installation of thermostats, installation and replacement of electronic door locks, installation and management of camera systems, install TVs, etc. This position requires someone that has a great attitude and who is a jack of all trades willing to do whatever is needed to help the company provide great service to owners and guests. Touch up painting, blowing off decks/driveways, pickup and delivery of mail items to owners/guests/property managers, helping guests who are locked out, rolling in and out trash bins, etc.Must have your own tools and transportation to the office. Company vehicle is provided while at work.
