Job Description:As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, structured cabling, data networks, and audiovisual systems. You will work directly with clients to ensure all systems are operating efficiently and meet safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including but not limited to security cameras, access control systems, fire alarms, intercoms, and network cabling.Conduct thorough system testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality.Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure proper system installation.Provide on-site support and technical assistance to clients as needed.Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and successful project completion.Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.Maintain accurate documentation of system installations, upgrades, and repairs.Provide training to clients on system operation and maintenance as required.Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and industry best practices at all times.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate degree preferred).Previous experience in low voltage systems installation, maintenance, or a related field.Strong knowledge of low voltage systems such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and data networks.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
