We are seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters, with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys with all aspects of trust and estate administration, including drafting estate planning documents, trust accountings, and probate filings.Prepare and file legal documents related to probate and trust administration, including petitions, inventories, accountings, and final distributions.Draft estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.Conduct legal research and maintain compliance with probate court rules and procedures.Utilize Lawgic and Probate Form Builder through Westlaw for document preparation and management (preferred).Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly recorded and deadlines are met.Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and court officials to facilitate estate and trust administration.Track and report billable hours (minimum 125 hours/month) in accordance with firm guidelines.Provide general administrative support to attorneys as needed.Qualifications & Requirements:Paralegal experience in trusts and estates administration and estate plan drafting is required.Familiarity with Lawgic and Probate Form Builder through Westlaw is preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.High level of professionalism, initiative, and analytical thinking.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to manage deadlines and work independently while supporting multiple attorneys.
