MUST BE A US CITIZEN TO APPLYJob Title/Series /Grade: Mechanical /Electrical/Electronic Engineer GS-08XX-12/13Pay Range: $83,854 - $109,011 per yearWork Schedule: Full-TimeAppointment Type: PermanentService: CompetitiveLocation: NAVFAC ATLANTIC,Norfolk, VADuties:You will plan, implement, modify, administer and evaluate software and systems.You will develop and modify systems, including 2D graphics creation, Tag Database generation, report development, computer setup and configuration, startup services including field setup and checkout, troubleshoot and operator training.You will oversee the development and implementation of control engineering system standards.You will provide information on status of control system networks and infrastructure.Qualifications:Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience as a professional civil engineer at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing professional structural engineering products, services, and consultation with facilities planning, design, construction, and maintenance;2) Ensuring planning, design, and construction are completed in accordance with specifications, criteria, policy, industry codes and standards; 3) Performing design analyses and calculations for structural projects; and 4) Developing complex designs and analyses utilizing advanced structural engineering software.
