Technical Sales ManagerSpecialty Flat Glass & WafersYour Position Summary:The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing salesstrategies that align with our business objectives in specialty flat glass and wafers arena. This role requires a strong understanding of technical products and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within high-tech industries, particularly in semiconductor, space industry, optics, or sensors. A specialty glass background is beneficial.Your Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Development:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the semiconductor, optics, and/or sensors markets.Client Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that leverage our product offerings. Handle product or delivery concerns from the customer.Price Negotiations & Contract Development:Negotiated pricing for new business and work collaboratively with customers and legal teams to drive supply agreements to completion, ensuring all contractual obligations are met while aligning with company policies.Collaboration with R&D:Work closely with a Global Research and Development teams to identify customer requirements and translate them into actionable product development initiatives.Technical Expertise:Utilize your technical background to educate clients on product features, benefits, and applications. Provide insights into how our solutions can address specific challenges faced by customers.Product Development Support:Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop new products or modify existing ones based on market feedback and technological advancements.Market Analysis:Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the industry.Travel Requirements:Engage in domestic and international travel as needed to meet clients, attend trade shows, or participate in industry events.Your Background:B.S Degree in Engineering; Master's preferred5-10 years' Technical Sales Experience
