Join us in building a better future, one drop at a time.We're looking for a Construction Field Engineer who will support Project Managers in the delivery of technical services to IWS projects in the Western Region.Must be able to travel to projects anywhere in the state of California, specifically in the Bakersfield area in 2025.Responsibilities include:Processing submittals and change requestsDocument controlField quality controlProcessing invoices, assisting with billingsAssist in writing scopes of work and contractsAssist with schedule updatingEnsure consistent adherence to contract terms, plans and specifications, codes and industry standards as well as high safety and quality standards of workEstablish and maintain positive subcontractor relationsWork as a team player with project manager, superintendent, project team and subcontractors to achieve successEffectively communicate with and motivate workers, subcontractors and all parties on the jobsite.In every way you are training to become a Project Manager or SuperintendentQualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field of study or equivalent work experience is required.Minimum of 2+ years in the commercial construction industry is preferred.Experience in water treatment or wastewater construction or related heavy civil construction is a plusFamiliar with all aspects of the construction processKnowledge and experience with plans and specifications reading and understanding to the level of being able to perform detailed estimate level takeoffs is a plusProficient computer and reporting skills - knowledge of and familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project and other CM software is a plusProfessional skills: problem solver and self starter, attention to detail, punctualIWS offers:Competitive salary and benefits including:Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTDPTO and company paid holidays401kAn opportunity to grow your skills and advance your careerBase Salary: $70k-$90k*The provided base salary range is used nationally.
