Our client, a leading litigation litigation law firm specializing in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, & Professional Responsibility, is seeking a Paralegal to join their team!Role: ParalegalHybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remoteOffice location: Downtown Manhattan/Wall Street areaCompensation: $75-85k base salary DOE + strong benefitsJob Description:We are a highly regarded boutique style Law Firm with 8 attorneys specializing in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice & Professional Responsibility, located in downtown Manhattan/Wall Street area. We are looking for a Paralegal with at least 5 years of experience with Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation. Medical Malpractice experience would also be extremely helpful. This role will be assisting Partners, Managing Attorney and Associate Attorneys in litigation process from inception to completion of trial and/or settlement. Candidates should ideally be familiar with both New York State and Federal Court procedures. Duties include:Set up & organize filesDraft & prepare of Summons & ComplaintsDraft & prepare Bills of ParticularsDraft & prepare all Discovery Demands & ResponsesRequest & follow through obtaining all Hospital & Doctors recordsDraft & prepare MotionsInteract with clientsWork closely & assist attorneys on day-to-day case management of filesStenography A+ or fast long hand dictationFamiliar with Motion Practice & Calendar PracticeCorrespondenceWe are seeking experienced candidates capable of independently working on PI/MM cases to assist with furthering our cases to completion.Hours: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
