Charter One is currently accepting applications for a full-time HR Benefits Coordinator. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, an Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card from the Department of Public Safety.Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:Process employee leaves of absences and reasonable accommodation requestsMaintain up to date knowledge and understanding of FMLA, ADA, PWFA and PPL policies and proceduresKeeping meticulous records of employee leave and accommodation requestsUtilize task management platforms (ClickUp)Communicating with stakeholders on employee medical issuesResponsible for completing and submitting various invoices for our benefit carriers to Finance for approval and tracking paymentsAnswer and assist employees throughout the benefit enrollment processComplete monthly audits of part-time employees' hours worked and ensure compliance with ACACommunicate and offer benefits to eligible employeesComplete bi-monthly reviews of ACA eligible employee benefit deductions, communicate any necessary back collections or payments and track completionReview, track and distribute end of year 1095-C tax formsAssist with setting up and tracking of the annual open enrollment periodAssist with employee workers compensation claims including tracking progress of claim status, answering questions, and communicating with stakeholdersOther duties as assignedMinimum qualifications:Detail-orientedOrganizationStrong Communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Previous HR and benefits related experienceExperience with HRIS systems (ADP) and benefit systemsDegree in HR-related fieldCharter One offers a competitive salary that is individually determined based on education and experience.
