Trustpoint.One is assisting an Am-100 law firm in seeking a Trust & Estates Paralegal to join their offices in either Baltimore or Towson on a direct-hire opportunity. This role is hybrid and will require 3 days in the office. The professional will work closely with attorneys and clients on complex estate and trust administration matters in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.Responsibilities of the Trust & Estates Paralegal: Draft, edit, and review probate and estate administration documents including petitions for probate, inventories, accountings, and tax returnsTrust administration duties including accountings and filing fiduciary income tax returnsInteract with a wide variety of clients in person, on the phone, via email, and video conferencingGather information regarding the assets and debts of an estate and/or trustAssemble and organize financial records for estate tax returns and auditsPrepare, edit, and review estate tax returnsPrepare accountings and settlement papers for both informal and formal settlement of estates and trustsQualifications of the Trust & Estates Paralegal: 5+ years of experience as a trust and estate paralegal and familiarity with fiduciary accountings and tax preparationMD notary license is preferredEffective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to work on case teamsExcellent discipline and organizational, planning, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to multitask and successfully manage a variety of demands daily from a variety of sourcesStrong attention to detailThis is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in an Am-100 firm that prioritizes employee development.
