Kitchen Manager (CACFP) - The Common Good (Tulsa, OK)💰Salary: $48,000 - $53,000 annuallyâ³ Full-Time | Flexible Schedule (Approx. 35-40 hours/week)ðŸ“Location: Tulsa, OKPosition SummaryThe Common Good seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and meal services for our senior breakfast and after-school programs. This role is responsible for all aspects of CACFP administration, food procurement, menu planning, compliance, and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about CACFP regulations, capable of managing all documentation, reporting, and food service logistics with minimal oversight.If you have hands-on kitchen experience, deep knowledge of CACFP compliance, and a passion for serving communities, we encourage you to apply!Key ResponsibilitiesCACFP Program Oversight & Compliance· Fully manage CACFP meal service operations, ensuring that all lunches and evening snacks comply with USDA and CACFP guidelines.· Maintain all required CACFP documentation, including meal counts, records, and reimbursement claims.· Submit accurate reports in compliance with state and federal CACFP regulations.· Stay updated on CACFP rule changes, ensuring program adherence.· Train staff or volunteers on CACFP policies, meal requirements, and reporting expectations.Meal Preparation & Kitchen Operations· Plan and prepare 50 senior breakfasts, 80 CACFP-compliant lunches, and 50 evening snacks.· Utilize a kitchen helper in the mornings for prep and meal distribution.· Order and manage food inventory, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and food safety compliance.· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following local health and safety regulations.· Develop and update monthly menus that meet CACFP guidelines.Leadership & Administration· Act as The Common Good's CACFP expert, guiding leadership and program staff on meal compliance.· Develop operational efficiencies to improve meal prep and delivery.· Build and maintain relationships with food vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective meal service.· Maintain the kitchen budget and work within financial constraints.· Identify opportunities for program growth and innovation.
