Cleaning Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Position Overview:The 3rd Shift Cleaning Supervisor reports to the 3rd Shift Setup and Cleaning Manager and is responsible for providing general supervision to full and part-time cleaning staff, ensuring that employees follow all WCD policies and procedures. Additionally, the 3rd Shift Cleaning Supervisor will also execute general cleaning activities within all Wisconsin Center District facilities. This position is subject to work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities:Responsible for the knowledge and supervision of all Setup and Cleaning staffTrain all Cleaning staff when it comes to proper procedures and suppliesEnforce WCD attendance, uniform, radio, disciplinary policies and safety rulesResponsible for the knowledge, training, repairs, and supervision of Setup and Cleaning equipmentCheck the attendance line for any staff call off messages and report those to the 3rd Shift Setup and Cleaning Manager or the Director of Cleaning Maintain a harmonious and cohesive work environment among staffCreate and distribute daily work assignments for their shiftAct as Setup Shift Supervisor on days when the corresponding supervisor is offSign off on work orders at the end of the shift and updating the incoming supervisor and director on status of tasksCheck Momentus to get the most up to date information and relaying changes to staffAssist with, and execute all of the responsibilities of the cleaning staff; including the satisfactory and timely completion of assigned tasks, cleaning and refreshingClean and dust rooms including but not limited to, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up items off the floor, spot clean glass, windows, and doors, and wash tile walls in corridorsMaintain proper communication with the 3rd Shift Setup and Cleaning Manager and 3rd Shift Setup Supervisor to ensure that staff are prioritizing duties and keeping on deadlines Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautionsCapable of using industrial equipment such as large vacuums or buffers; operate riding and walk behind equipmentMaintain all areas of the facilities in safe and clean conditionReport equipment/cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to Director in a timely fashionAssist guests whenever possible, referring all requests which are beyond the scope of responsibility immediately to 3rd Shift Setup and Cleaning Manager or the Director of Cleaning Attend work on time as scheduled and adheres to attendance policyThe primary shift is 3rd shift, however, must be able to work flexible and irregular hours including days, evenings, and late nights, weekends and/or holidays, event by event basis Demonstrates commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environmentOther responsibilities and duties as assigned by management, to ensure the effective utilization of the company's resources and to ensure customer satisfaction Skills & Qualifications:Strong project management and organizational skills in which the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects on time is essential;
