Wonderful opportunity! The World Equestrian Center is seeking a high-energy, talented, experienced multi-head embroidery machine operator to join our growing team of professionals at the largest equestrian complex in the United States.The embroidery machine operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining embroidery machines to produce the highest quality embroidered designs on fabrics or garments. This role involves selecting and installing appropriate threads, needles, and fabrics, following design specifications, and performing quality checks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and experienced in producing the highest quality of materials using embroidery equipment.Key Responsibilities:Machine Setup and Operation:Set up embroidery machines with the correct threads, needles, and fabrics for each design.Input and adjust machine settings based on design specifications, ensuring proper alignment, tension, and stitch quality.Load and unload garments or fabric pieces from machines, carefully positioning materials to match design templates.Design Preparation and Execution:Interpret and load digital design files into the embroidery machine software.Make necessary adjustments to design placement, size, and orientation based on the garment or material.Monitor machine operations to ensure the design is being executed as specified, adjusting settings as needed.Quality Control:Inspect finished products for quality, checking for correct color, stitch density, alignment, and overall appearance.Identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies, making adjustments to the machine if needed.Rework or repair defective items and notify supervisors of repeated issues.Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, such as cleaning, oiling, and replacing worn parts.Troubleshoot machine errors and perform minor repairs when necessary.Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring equipment is in good working condition.Inventory Management:Monitor thread, needles, and other consumable supplies, notifying management when restocking is necessary.Organize and store designs, templates, and samples for future reference.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; technical in machine operation is a plus.Previous experience operating embroidery machines required; familiarity with high-end brandsUnderstanding of embroidery techniques, stitch types, and design formats.Basic knowledge of embroidery software (WILCOM) and file types (e.g., DST, PES).Basic knowledge of designing is a plus (Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Wilcom, etc.).Key Skills:Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of machine settings, embroidery techniques, and fabric handling.Attention to Detail: Precision in aligning, positioning, and inspecting finished designs.Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and adjust settings as needed.Time Management: Efficiency in handling multiple orders and meeting production deadlines.Communication: Ability to interpret design specifications and collaborate with other production staff.Work Environment:Requires standing for extended periods and frequent use of hands for threading and fabric handling.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Day shiftWork Location: In person
