POSITION SUMMARYConcrete ForemanDirectly supervises workers' and subcontractors' day-to-day work on construction projects.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential functions include but are not limited to the following:Supervises and directs the work of designated team members and subcontractors.Monitors productivity and work quality to meet schedules and standards.Troubleshoots any issues involving workers, contractors, safety, quality, changes, or processes and expedites solutions.Monitors and ensures adherence to all company and customer quality policies and procedures.Oversees expenditures to ensure they are within budgetMeets with customers to communicate progress and/or participates in site meetings as required by the company and/or customers.Operates various equipment and uses a variety of tools on the job as needed.Determines materials and quantities needed and places orders to ensure work demands and deadlines are met.Performs site work such as layouts; installation of wood or metal frame work, concrete forms, ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms and gangways; erects scaffolding or temporary access structures.Consistently communicates with Project Manager regarding project plans and status as well as labor and resource needs.Completes STA's, Equipment Checklists, Hot Work forms and daily time and labor reports.Performs minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.Identifies and addresses potential safety hazards.Investigates all accidents and good catches (near misses), completes the necessary paperwork in a timely manner, and submits all documentation to the designated personnel for handling.Adheres to all safety protocols and regulations.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTSFive (5) or more years of related industry experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior experience leading, directing and supervising othersValid driver's licenseGood communication and organization skills
