Maintenance Specialist - Contract to HireExperience:- Proficient in basic carpentry and able to repair wooden structures such as doors and furniture.- Capable of minor plumbing work like fixing leaks and replacing fixtures.- Basic understanding of electrical systems for tasks such as resetting breakers and wiring.- Knowledgeable in HVAC system maintenance and minor repairs.- Skilled in general repairs, including painting and drywall.- Experience with regular preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.- Proficient with hand and power tools and knowledgeable about safety protocols.- Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address maintenance issues.- Good communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.Responsibilities:- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.- Perform preventative maintenance, including filter changes and part lubrication.- Execute minor repairs on plumbing, doors, and electrical fixtures.- Maintain and troubleshoot machinery for efficiency.- Ensure safety compliance and maintain a tidy work area.- Document maintenance activities accurately.- Collaborate with team members and contractors on tasks and projects.- Perform groundskeeping duties like landscaping and outdoor cleaning.Education:- High School Diploma or GED required. English is required- Vocational training in plumbing, electrical work, or HVAC systems is preferred.Certifications:- Optional certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing are advantageous.
