Our client is a leading law firm with offices across the country. They are seeking a LegalAssistant to join their Bankruptcy practice. The position is hybrid and based 3 out of 5 days per weekat their office in Midtown, Manhattan.Experience in Bankruptcy law is mandatoryJob DetailsGeneral secretarial duties such as answering the telephone, taking messages, using office equipment, processing mail, etc.Heavy calendar managementTravel Management (booking flights, accommodations, ground transportation, itineraries, etc.)Draft complex correspondence and documentsManage emails as permitted by attorneyHigh level of involvement with attorney billingCreate marketing materials as neededAnticipate needs of attorneysParticipate in firm training opportunitiesAssist and advise junior peers in handling emergency or urgent calls and assignmentsPerform other duties as requiredSkills and Qualifications8+ years' Sr. Legal Secretary experience in a large/mid-size law firm1-2 years' experience in Bankruptcy practice group experience Strong computer skills (typing 55 wpm, Microsoft Office Suite, docketing software, CRM, etc.)Outstanding customer/client service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive information and stressful situationsExceptional time management, attention to detail, and accuracyKnowledge of legal terminology, syntax, formatting, and contentAbility to collaborate and work independentlySalary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experienceGainor provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender (including gender identity and expression), age, national origin, immigration status, marital or familial status, citizenship status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, reproductive health decision making, veteran or military status, or any other characteristic or status protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
