Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic

AVIATION MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANDIRECT HIRE ROLEJob Summary Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of company and outside customer operated aircraft and articles as assigned. Ensures company operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals.Education/ Experience RequirementsFAA A&P License requiredValid state driver's license requiredIn-depth knowledge of aircraft airframe and engine schematicsPrior experience in general aviation requiredCorporate Jet experience required (CJ3 or Learjet 55/60)Experience in aircraft repositioning with ground support equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as climbing, stooping, bending, and working on the floorBasic computer proficiency requiredMust provide personal tools for general routine aircraft maintenanceBenefits: Medical insurance, dental insurance, group life and AD&D offered after 60 days of employment; 401(k) plan, tuition assistance offered as well.
