Plumbing Estimator

Job Description-Primary Responsibilities:Perform detailed plumbing and hydronic system take-offs based on project plans and specifications, using estimating software.Leverage industry knowledge to create design-build estimates from initial layouts, conceptual designs, and Basis of Design documents for various markets and system types.Obtain pricing quotes for materials not included in the estimating software.Review project specifications and drawings to ensure estimating accuracy.Develop or suggest pre-bid Requests for Information for assigned projects.Identify and qualify vendors for equipment and subcontracting needs on assigned projects.Contribute to written proposals, technical documents, and presentations to support Project Executives.Provide cost estimates for change orders to Project Managers when detailed material take-offs are needed.Additional Responsibilities:Actively prepare for and participate in weekly sales and estimating update meetings.Take advantage of training opportunities to improve skills.Contribute to the Company's goal of continuous improvement.
