Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all financial transactions are processed correctly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Manage and process accounts payable transactions: Reconcile invoices, verify vendor information, and maintain accurate records of payments made. Verify and reconcile vendor statements: Ensure that all vendor statements are accurately reflected in our accounting system. Maintain accurate records: Keep detailed records of all financial transactions, including receipts, invoices, and payments. Analyze and resolve discrepancies: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in the accounts payable process. Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with purchasing, finance, and other departments to ensure that all financial transactions are processed correctly. Ensure compliance with company policies: Adhere to company policies and procedures related to accounts payable and financial transactions. Other duties as assigned: Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support the successful operation of the business. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field: A bachelors degree in accounting or a related field is required. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable: 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related field is preferred. Strong organizational skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential. Proficient in accounting software: Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAP or QuickBooks, is a plus.
