Service Plumber

Prairie Mechanical, an industry leading union contractor, is currently seeking a plumber to join our fast-growing service department team. This position provides an excellent opportunity for candidates to join the Plumbers Local 16 if not currently a member.Qualifications:At least 3 years of experience in plumbing and drain cleaningGeneral knowledge of plumbing and drain systemsExcellent oral and written communications skillsExceptional customer service skillsExperience with hydro-jetting, cable machines and inspection camerasClean driving recordAbility to work in a team settingJob offer contingent on passing background check and drug screenJob Functions:Perform commercial plumbing services such as: Drain cleaning, camera inspections, backflow preventer testing, pipe installation, water fixture retrofit and installationComplete customer paperwork via online portalCommunicate with dispatch and billing departments to handle customer requests and invoicesPhysical Demands:The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; sit: reach with hands and arms: climb or balance.
