General Manager in Training

Job Summary We are seeking an Operations Manager to assist and oversee daily operations at our travel stops and convenience stores. This role involves leading a team, managing processes, and executing strategies to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management, with a proven track record of growing sales and meeting organizational goals. Responsibilities Hands-on responsibility for multiple business operations, including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care. Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom and shower cleanliness, facilities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks. Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards. Assist the General Manager with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. Understand financial reporting to include analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting change to capture and capitalize on opportunities. Collaborate with managers in the efforts of talent acquisition. Requirements 2+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management. 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+million. 2+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements. 2+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees. Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel. A valid drivers license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle check.
