Operations Manager Job Description At Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores , we are seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to join our team. Job Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires leading a team, managing processes, and executing strategies to grow sales and meet organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Hands-on responsibility of multiple business operations including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care. Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom and shower cleanliness, facilities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks. Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards. Assist the General Manager with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. Understand financial reporting to include analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting change to capture and capitalize on opportunities. Collaborate with managers in the efforts of talent acquisition. Requirements: 2+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management. 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+million. 2+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements. 2+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees. Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
