Senior Electrical Engineer

** Senior Electrical Engineer Tampa, Florida*** $100,000 - $140,000Position ***** The Senior Electrical Engineer will design complex electrical systems, including master system plans, power systems, protection and generation models, facility power systems, and sustainability/renewable energy systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, performing power system studies, and updating design requirements as needed.ResponsibilitiesCreate designs for various electrical systems to meet client project requirements.Review and sign off on designs for regulatory compliance.Conduct power system studies and electrical calculations.Perform site reviews to ensure design alignment with location specifications.Develop technical documentation and white papers.Collaborate with sales staff to create and review proposals.Meet with clients to discuss current and future design needs.Attend conferences to enhance firm visibility.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.Supervise junior engineers on project work.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsBachelors degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related discipline.Professional Engineering (PE) license.10 years of related experience.Domestic and/or international travel may be required.Equivalent additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.Skills and AbilitiesExpert knowledge of CADD 3D and 4D software and RevitExpert knowledge of engineering design principles.Proficiency in Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Expert knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
