Electrical Engineer I- Voorhees NJ

** Voorhees, NJ Health/SciencesWe are seeking an Electrical Engineer I for our multi-disciplined Healthcare/Sciences Department.Position **Support senior engineers in designing electrical systems for various clients. Coordinate with the design team and Project Manager to execute project objectives efficiently. This hybrid position requires a minimum of 3 days per week in our Voorhees, NJ office.*Perform engineering calculations, prepare single line diagrams, size electrical components and equipment, conduct short circuit analysis, and prepare technical specifications.Review projects to ensure standards and requirements align with client needs and project budgets.Design, layout, and check electrical systems drawings for technical correctness using applicable standards and codes.Conduct site surveys, energy audits, attend project meetings, and provide field construction support.Coordinate with facility owners and architects, ensuring high levels of responsiveness and communication.Conduct shop drawing reviews and construction administration.Knowledge of local, state, and national code requirements (IEEE, NFPA, FGI Guidelines).Experience with lighting and electrical load analysis software.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.Knowledge of USGBC LEED Rating system is a plus.Strong time management skills, comfortable with deadlines and transitions.Effective communication skills for complex ideas, technical writing, and documentation.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.Education and ***BS in Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in designing electrical systems for critical care and/or laboratory facilities.Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred or working towards licensure.If you are a motivated Electrical Engineer looking to grow in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
