Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services organization, is seeking 3 talented QA Analysts to join their growing team!***** Mid-Senior QA Analyst***** 6-12 month contract - potential for ongoing extensions# of ***** 3 openingsPay Rate ***** $40-48/hr W2***** Jacksonville, FL or Detroit, MI or Lewisville, TX or (currently fully remote due to lack of office space but may return to a hybrid environment if desk space opens up!)As a QA Analyst for the Auto Consumer Credit Operations Team, you will play a key role in successfully executing QA processes in a mission-critical vertical. You will collaborate closely with QA Leads, QA Analysts, product owners, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to implement defined QA/Testing processes and principles.Job ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage assigned testing artifacts.Develop test cases based on provided requirements.Execute test cases and track results.Review and discuss test results with other QA personnel.Document testing results clearly and comprehensively.Identify, document, and report defects.Present identified defects to the development team and address any questions regarding testing procedures and data used.Participate in release planning sessions and ask relevant clarifying questions.Perform responsibilities independently, demonstrating initiative and accountability.Contribute to process improvements within the QA function.QualificationsStrong passion and commitment to QA/testing.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field of study.In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, concepts, and processes.Proven skills in test case development, execution, and defect management.Experience in API testing (Postman experience preferred).Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., qTest, JIRA, Quality Center).Knowledge of Agile methodology and its processes.Strong SQL skills; ability to create and run queries (experience with Nucleus is a plus).Ability to define and document test cases and support less experienced QA personnel.Experience documenting and reporting defects effectively.Ability to understand and analyze requirements/user stories.Software development experience is desirable.Additional InformationThe role involves working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing critical support to various functional teams while ensuring that quality standards and processes are met consistently.
