The candidate should have experience in vehicle mechanical engineering design relevant to ground vehicle applications within a defense environment. Responsibilities include updating and releasing design changes using PTC CREO and completing all related design change processes.Specific *****Develop designs to meet provided requirementsIncorporate design revisionsAnalyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, documentation, models, and/or test results to ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirementsParticipate in design and process reviewsInterface with senior members of the integrated product team to report status and address issuesThe candidate will consistently promote and maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all company safety rules.RequirementsBachelors of Science degree in Mechanical EngineeringExperience with PTC CREO creating models and drawingsMust be organized with excellent communication skillsMust be a self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and drives them to completionStrong engineering analytical skills, with an understanding of and ability to apply GD&T to drawingsExperience analyzing bolted jointsExperience performing tolerance analysesFamiliarity with military vehicles preferred
