An international Freight Forwarding company is currently seeking an Account Manager in the JFK area to help expand their business footprint into new markets. The perfect candidate will have at least 5-years Logistics Industry Sales experience with global freight forwarders based in the European market. This is a full-time, direct hire position.Responsibilities of Account *Develop and manage relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and drive sales to meet or exceed company targets.Provide clients with tailored freight forwarding solutions, advising on the best logistical options and cost-effective strategies.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to customers.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while ensuring company profitability and competitive positioning.Monitor and report on sales performance, maintaining detailed records of sales activities and client interactions.Requirements of Account **At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.Associate's degree or higher; a relevant background in logistics, international trade, or business is preferred.Strong account management skills, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and fostering client relationships.Previous experience in sales with a European logistics company is highly desirable.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all seniority levels and during all stages of the sales process.Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.-------------------------------------------------------------------Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc., has been one of the leading recruiting firms in North America when it comes to working with Japanese Businesses for over 20 years.
