Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer with a strong focus on high-rise structures. This position involves working on complex, multi-story construction projects, where you'll apply innovative electrical design techniques. You will collaborate with clients, attend meetings, lead engineering teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure the quality and accuracy of electrical documentation. The Senior Electrical Designer will interpret electrical design requirements and develop electrical systems that meet the highest standards of quality for high-rise projects.Position Details and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate optimal electrical design solutions by applying industry knowledge, while considering customer needs and project budgets, specifically for high-rise buildings.Serve as the primary technical lead and provide assistance throughout multiple projects, including bidding, design, permitting, and construction phases for high-rise structures.Conduct efficiency reviews and provide value engineering options for existing designs in the context of high-rise projects.Prepare detailed electrical drawings and models tailored to the unique needs of high-rise construction, using theoretical and practical design knowledge.Lead and provide design direction to team members throughout the project lifecycle.Effectively communicate with clients, consultants, project personnel, and inspecting authorities, ensuring compliance with all high-rise electrical system regulations.What Were Looking ForIn-depth knowledge and experience with electrical systems in high-rise structures; a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.10+ years of directly related experience, specifically with high-rise or multi-story building projects.Strong electrical design fundamentals, including knowledge of NEC, IBC, IECC, and life safety codes relevant to high-rise construction.Experience with CADD is preferred but not required.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, particularly in high-rise construction settings.Detail-oriented and quality-driven.Capable of analyzing and resolving design challenges at both a strategic and functional level.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Ability to demonstrate and uphold professional values, including integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
