REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE•Associate degree in a related field. •Minimum two (2) years of professional experience as a document controller in the engineering and/or construction fields. •Proficient in eBuilder, Microsoft Office Suite - WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, detail oriented. •Records management concepts, procedures and standards. •Excellent verbal and written communication as well as organizational skills. •Proficient in analyzing data, problem identification and resolution, able to generate clear/concise reports indicating key issues, multi-task and prioritize work. • Able to work cross functionally as part of a large team. • Understanding of general engineering and construction documents a plus. • Experience in document control for large projects/contracts.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Document Controller is responsible for providing professional and efficient support to our team, including receiving, reviewing, categorizing, scanning, filing, and tracking documents using our company's classification and organization systems and using eBuilder. This position needs to be extremely detail-oriented, have knowledge of inbound communications, and be familiar working with documents of confidential nature, and capable of working on and tracking a large number of documents/tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key ***** • Monitor and control incoming and outgoing submittals, responses, correspondences, and other documentation following required eBuilder processes for each project/contract. • Ensure all documents are properly stored, managed, and accessible to authorized personnel per agency document control and record retention policy. • Respond to requests for documents and distribute them as needed. • Facilitate advancement of documentation through the eBuilder processes. • Support project teams on document requirements. • Ensure document transmittals by others are accurate and complete. • Proactively communicate with project teams to manage project requests, prioritization and workload. • Maintain and continuously improve the Change Control process. • Contribute to the development of department policies including documentation, storage, and organization policies. • Initiate corrective action for continuous improvement of efficiency and customer service. • Perform quality assurance and quality control of all applicable documents. • Perform periodic archiving and audits to maintain document repository standards. • Investigate compliance as necessary.**$100,000 to $110,000 per year annual salary.
