We are seeking a Scientific Publication Manager for our prominent pharmaceutical clients to provide operational support and expertise for a global scientific publications team. This role is responsible for managing publication projects, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, maintaining documentation in Datavision, and overseeing vendor management activities.The key objectives of this position include supporting GSP-managed activities for scientific congresses, including poster printing/shipping, QR code creation, and calendar management. Overseeing end-to-end vendor management, including billing, purchase order (P.O.) maintenance, and financial oversight.This is a 12-month project opportunity working remotely. Applicants must be located in the continental U.S.1099, C2C or 3rd candidates are not eligible for this position.Application deadline: 2/24/25Pay: $40-45/hour W-2, paid weeklyResponsibilities:Vendor & Contract Management:Manage all vendor contracts, including creation, tracking, and billing, ensuring accuracy in monthly budget forecasts.Train vendors on policies and procedures while maintaining strong vendor relationships (e.g., periodic health checkups, billing timelines, and record completion).Perform invoice analysis and budget reconciliation across the GSP team.Financial & Budget Tracking:Track contracts spend and expiration while ensuring compliance with required documentation.Work closely with Outsourcing, Purchasing, Finance, and Global Medical Operations (GMO) to facilitate financial processes.Compile data and report key metrics and KPIs to support financial planning.Congress & Publications Support:Create and maintain yearly congress calendars and trackers.Manage QR code generation for scientific posters, as well as facilitate poster printing and shipping.Support the routing and approval process for IIS, PAA, LP, and other publications through publication systems.Cross-functional Collaboration:Engage with Corporate Accounts Payable, Finance, Outsourcing, GMO Project Managers, and other internal teams to streamline workflows.Maintain clear and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Requirements:Required: BA/BS degree (preferred focus in Science, Healthcare, Business, or Project Management).Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry, clerical, document management, or reconciliation roles.Preferred: 4+ years of relevant experience in project/process management, publications management, medical/technical writing, Datavision software, or compliance.Skills & Competencies:Strong project management and process improvement skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, as errors can have significant consequences.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost savings and process improvements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership.Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and database tools, with experience in electronic file storage and retrieval.To be considered for this Scientific Publication Manager opportunity, apply now!Perks & Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401k ProgramCommuter BenefiteLearningEducation ReimbursementOngoing Training & Development*To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
