They handle a wide range of tasks, from processing orders and managing customer relationships to maintaining sales records and assisting with administrative duties. By streamlining processes, resolving customer inquiries, and providing valuable data insights, the Sales Coordinator contributes significantly to the overall success and efficiency of the sales department.Primary / Key Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesAccount CoordinatorTrack and report on Sales orders received vs the Sales planUpdate customer information in SalesforceKeep accurate records of customer interactions / feedbackMaintain customer linesheets / pricebooksSupport Inside sales with Account management tasksAssist Sales team in managing Sales opportunities - creating opportunities, updating tasks, following up on progress, etcManage sample requests and follow through on shipping as neededForecastingAssist the sales team in gathering the data (for e.g. sku orders, trends MOM and YOY, etc) and will provide monthly reporting which will steer monthly forecast.Arrange / set up the sales forecast meetingTake notes in preparation for the monthly SIOP meeting, and hold the team accountable for action items.Other Administrative TasksAssist with preparing presentations, various other sales material / assetsAssist in coordinating trade show preparation and materialsMay also be involved in other tasks such as coordinating with other departments, researching potential clients, and supporting marketing initiativesAssist with managing various retail project timelines and tasksAssist Customer Service Coordinator where requiredEducation and/or Experience and QualificationsCollege Degree requiredStrong experience with Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)2-3 years of professional/administrative work experience1 year of Salesforce experienceKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSuperior organization and time management abilitiesMust be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced work environmentDetail oriented and professional demeanorPositive energy, can-do attitude, and team playerResourceful, adaptable and strong willingness to learnMust be able work independently and take directions wellTeam-oriented with effective collaboration skills.Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints knowledgeably and respectfully.Able to interpret an extensive variety of instructions.Capable of defining problems using abstract concepts such as structured problem solving to collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
