Their products are used by chemists across the world in pharmaceutical, academic, chemicals, forensic and environmental testing laboratories.With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Field Service Engineer based in the North East.The RoleYou will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs of the instruments. Accurately diagnose issues, discern customer needs, troubleshoot instruments and software, and find solutions to repair instruments.The position is home office based in New York, Pennsylvania with up to 90% travel to customer sites.Providing technical support to customers across the region. Communicate effectively with customers and team regarding scheduling, repair or maintenance needs, part requests, expectations, and outcomes. Working closely with the sales and support team in the USA and across the globe.The RequirementsEducated with a Bachelors in; Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Forensic Sciences, Analytical Sciences; Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.Experience installing, Maintaining, or repairing instruments. Goal oriented, highly motivated, and excellent communication skills are essential.Comfortable with travel across AmericaValid Driver's Licence
