A leading private equity firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate to support its investment team. Focused on sectors including telecom services, industrials, government services, and business services (including payments), the firm prioritizes long-term investment strategies and value creation. This role offers significant exposure to deal execution, financial modeling, and investment strategy within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Location: Onsite in Los Angeles, CA (90266)Compensation: Competitive market base salary + 50% bonus potential.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence.Source investment opportunities through industry networking and market analysis.Draft investment memos and assist in communications with stakeholders.Support senior investment professionals in executing and managing transactions.Deliver accurate financial models and compelling investment analyses.Proactively identify and qualify new investment opportunities.Foster strong relationships with lenders, equity partners, and portfolio stakeholders.Ideal Experience1-2 years of post-undergraduate experience in investment banking (IB).Exposure to lower-middle-market private equity is a plus.Strong academic background, preferably from a top-tier institution.Advanced financial modeling skills.Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, video conferencing software).Seeking a driven, adaptable professional who thrives in a meritocratic environment.
