Project Manager - Costa Mesa, CA and Escondido, CAPosition OverviewDavison & Moore Commercial Flooring is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to join our teams in both Costa Mesa, CA and Escondido, CA. A Project Manager (PM) is the lead on our contracted work, overseeing all aspects of each job to ensure customer and company success from inception to completion. A PM will work closely with the customer team, vendors and suppliers, and the company team (coordinator, management, salespeople, accounting, and the warehouse manager) and will communicate and conduct themselves with the utmost integrity and professionalism as an ambassador of Davison & Moore.Davison & Moore is a rapidly expanding commercial flooring contractor in the Southern California market. For more information about our company and our guiding principles, please visit /about-us/our-culture/.Position Responsibilities:Attend Construction kickoff meetings.Visit job site as needed to assess conditions, installation production, and the quality of our work.Monitor and manage projects through our integrated ERP software system, Netsuite, to assess job costs, billing, and profitability on an ongoing basis.Interact with customers to ensure key criteria and milestones are being metOversee submittal packages and monitor client approvals· Determine steps necessary to meet project deadlines. Respond with urgency and flexibility to meet frequently changing project schedules and demandsCommunicate with vendors, suppliers, and distributors to determine availability of productsEnsure that installers have current floor plans, accurate scope of work, and all materials for a successful installation and jo completionCoordinate job schedules with client, installers, and General Contractors Prepare projects for invoicing. Review for extras and change orders, maintaining current, accurate contract values across all platformsPrepare RFIs and Change Orders under the direction of SalespeopleCore Competencies:Leadership/Communication skills and a team-player with a positive "can-do" outlookExcellent organizational and follow through skills to monitor and deliver on multiple ongoing projectsFocus on Customer Service and building relationships with vendors and installersAbility to multi-task and prioritize to consistently meet time-sensitive deadlines Flexibility to take on different responsibilities and work independentlyDiligence to monitor and follow up on project correspondence Requirements:Proficiency in Office applications to include Word, Excel, Outlook Strong verbal and written communications skills are mandatory due to extensive contact with general contractors, vendors, customers and the project management group.Preferred:Construction administration background a plus including familiarity with construction plans2 years outside sales / project management experience Experience with NetSuite, Office 365, CAD/Measure Square estimating softwareBenefits:Health Insurance including Dental and Vision401(k) programPaid Time OffWork Shift8-hour, 5-day shiftDavison & Moore is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
