Civil Engineer

Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in Department of Defense (DoD) projects (Federal projects such as DHS will also be considered). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience working with a federal agency such as (but not limited to) NAVFAC, Army Corps of Engineers, Air Force, Marines, FBI, CIA, Federal Law Enforcement Training, Department of State, or Public Safety Building. This role requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and the ability to obtain a secret clearance. This person will be joining a thriving company in the A&E space working as a design lead for Federal projects.Required Skills & Experience• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a design engineer with DoD projects. • Professional Engineer (PE) license. • Proficiency in Civil 3D and PCSWMM. • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.Nice to Have Skills & Experience• Ideal candidates are located in Virginia Beach (VB), but flexible arrangements are possible for those with the correct years of experience.
