Electrical Engineering Manager

Job DescriptionAs Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading our electrical engineering team and driving business growth. Your responsibilities will span four key areas: managerial leadership, technical leadership, quality assurance, and business development. You will oversee all aspects of projects, from initial concept and design through construction and closeout, ensuring quality, code compliance, and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and grow our electrical engineering team, including recruiting, hiring, and performance management.Provide technical leadership and expertise in all facets of electrical engineering (medium & low voltage power distribution, lighting, life safety, etc.).Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to codes (NEC, NFPA) and quality standards. Serve as Engineer-of-Record, signing and sealing documents.Drive business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client relationship management, and identifying new opportunities.Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.Collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and contractors.Conduct field investigations, assessments, and develop project strategies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.PE license is required.Proven expertise in multiple areas of electrical engineering.Strong leadership, communication (written, oral, presentation), and interpersonal skills.Experience with QA/QC processes.Ability to lead the development of construction documents and support bidding/construction activities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with AutoCAD/Revit and/or building modeling/electrical power system software is a plus.Team player attitude.
