As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotels sales function. Your primary responsibility is to assist Sales and Catering Managers in every aspect of the sales and service processes, striving to meet and exceed guest satisfaction.Essential Job Functions: Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulnessManage and prepare proposals and contracts, ensuring accurate processing and distribution to relevant departmentsMaintain organized filing systems, log account information, and handle correspondence efficiently to support seamless hotel operationResolve issues related to pricing, menu descriptions, banquet facilities, guarantees, and seating chartMonitor and order necessary office suppliesConduct site inspections with potential and existing clients, showcasing our exceptional offeringProcesses business with sales systems including mini-hotel creation, booking link creation, rooming list and reservation entry, cancellations, confirmation list creation, remittance of group pick up, posting of group loyalty points.Assists other departments with administrative work.Ability to assist with the front desk as needed.Manages wedding group room blocks, including customer communication and communication of group details to operations team.Hotel Specific:Previous experience is preferred but not a requirement.This role has a $1,000 retention incentive: $500 on the 6th month, and $500 to be paid on your first anniversary.Physical Demands: Ability to sit for long periods of timeStand and walk frequently throughout the hotel during the shiftExercise judgement in evaluating situations and making sound decisionsQualifications:Education:High school diploma or its equivalent Experience: Previous administrative assistance experience in hotels or other offices preferredConfident utilizing MS outlook, Word, and ExcelPrevious experience with hotel PMS systems a plus.
