Kindly find the detailed job description below and apply with your updated resume & contact info.Role: Manual Test Engineers Duration: 10 Months Contract - To - Hire OR Contract (Open to Both)Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid 3 days on-site) An engineer in test is a software engineering role within the company that adheres to test implementations. There is the expectation they will learn what is important to our business, and make good decisions about what to test, how deeply to test it, and the best approach to testing it all with an intense customer focus. Quality is everything and these engineers are entrusted to ensure that is exactly what is being delivered to our customers. This position will create and execute exploratory, end-to-end, and manual and automated tests that allow the whole team to move faster while assuring the highest quality for our customers.Position Responsibilities:Lead the project team to analyze project/product requirements and testing needs in order to create and execute a comprehensive test strategy including both functional and technical/system-level testingLead in software requirements, design and code reviews to provide early and continuous quality feedbackDeep experience in software test strategy, creation of test process artifact templates, test metric definition and industry standard report definitionIdentify and develop manual test scripts for various types of testing: Acceptance, Usability, Functional and RegressionSetup and maintenance of test environmentsExecute/analyze test cases and communicate resultsHelp to troubleshoot and verify bugs and errors reportedParticipate in code reviewsPerform end-to-end Payment Host or EMV certifications of payment systemsDesign and develop test scripts and execute EMV test casesAnalyze certification test results at technical detailed level (EMV tags, bits, Pinpad modes, Contact/Contactless configurations, tables) to pinpoint source of compliance issuesUse Brand Test Tools like UL Collis, ICC; Pinpads like Verifone, Ingenico, Equinox; POS/PMS systems, TransactionLink, Gateways, and technical skills to perform certification and QAAchieve production-ready test and certification approval of payment applicationsPerform end-to-end system, functional and regression tests of payment systems prior to production useUpdate test scripts based on bugs and changes/upgrades to the applicationWork with team members to find the cause of defectsWork effectively with members of the project team to ensure project success and champion high quality throughout the projectProactively seek ways to incorporate new/creative ideas and methodologies into testing efforts by keeping abreast of current methodologies, technologies and toolsWork closely with architects, developers and project managers to lead teams through task management and by example in all phases of the project life cycleWork closely with Solution Technical Lead, Architect, DevOps and QA Tech LeadQualification Requirements:Bachelor s or Masters in Computer Science or equivalentMinimum 5-7 years of software test experienceThe successful candidate will have/possess:Experience writing test plans, strategies and test casesGood understanding of testing methodology and software development lifecycles (Agile experience preferred)Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and strong teamwork relationshipsAbility to work hands-on and also provide leadership in the implementation of complex testing solutionsDisplay a high-level of initiative and troubleshooting skillsAble to work independently with minimal supervision and keep stakeholders informed of progress toward goalsExperience setting testing standards and implementing them across teams.Essential Functions:Ability to quickly gain domain knowledge, focus on prioritizing opportunities for test automation and build stable and repeatable automation frameworks and scriptsAbility to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priorityAbility to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an organization (both inside and outside the company).We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
