If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where your ideas and expertise will directly impact product development, we want you on our team.What You'll Do:Design and develop telescoping slides, linear motion mechanisms, and related hardware using AutoCAD Inventor.Collaborate directly with me and the team to refine ideas and turn concepts into manufacturable products.Ensure optimal load capacity, wear resistance, and structural integrity through calculations and analysis.Create detailed 2D/3D models, drawings, and BOMs for manufacturing and assembly.Conduct simulations, tolerance analysis, and material selection to enhance product durability and efficiency.Prototype, test, and validate new designs through hands-on development.Work closely with the manufacturing team to improve and streamline production processes.Troubleshoot and refine existing products, identifying failure points and engineering better solutions.Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for safety and performance.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.(Associate's Degree acceptable with strong skills and experience.)Proficiency in 3D modeling and Inventor software.Strong understanding of tolerances (GDT&T experience is a plus).2+ years of experience in mechanical design.A curious, problem-solving mindset"”we value engineers who ask "Why is this done this way?" and seek better solutions.Experience or interest in 19-inch rack mount products (installation and mounting experience preferred).Knowledge of materials (steel, aluminum, polymer, coatings) and manufacturing processes, with a focus on forming and stamping.Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across different aspects of the production process.Preferred Skills (Bonus Points!):Experience designing industrial or aerospace-grade slides, rails, or linear motion components.Knowledge of ISO standards.Project management experience in an engineering setting.What We Offer:✅ 401(k) with company match✅ Dental, Health, and Life Insurance✅ Flexible Spending Account (FSA)✅ Paid Time Off & Holidays✅ A hands-on, innovative work environment where your ideas matter📅 Schedule:8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
