Hybrid Inside & Outside Sales RepresentativeWHAT YOULL BE DOING The Hybrid inside & outside Sales Representative develops new business and maintains existing business within an assigned territory, working closely with outside sales, the local Operations teams, the Inside Sales Manager, and Regional Sales Director to achieve profitable growth within the assigned territory. The Inside Sales Representative plays a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives advancing the sales process while providing exceptional customer service. The Inside & outside Sales Representative is accountable for achieving or exceeding assigned KPIs including financial and customer satisfaction measures. In this role, the ambition to fulfil our "Happy Customer" value must guide all customer communications and activities. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed territory performance goals by generating leads for new business and identifying opportunities within existing customer accounts. Complete a minimum of 25 outbound calls per day for consistent coverage and business growth.Qualify Business Opportunities: Assess and qualify new business opportunities to align with commercial and financial goals, ensuring customer needs are met. Record significant opportunities in the CRM and collaborate with outside sales, the Inside Sales Manager, and the Regional Sales Director for follow-up actions.Manage Customer Quotes and Bookings: Respond to customer quotation requests and follow up diligently to secure bookings or resolve outstanding issues. Collaborate with the appropriate teams (outside sales, operations, Inside Sales Manager) to ensure customer satisfaction and meet requirements.Smooth Sales Process: Work closely with the Inside Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director to ensure proper pricing and rate approvals are in place. Communicate effectively with operations teams to facilitate booking and booking modifications as needed.Booking & Order Management: Handle export, import bookings, and/or CCPs for business you secure directly, ensuring smooth coordination with local operations teams when necessary.Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Actively address customer questions, issues, or complaints in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction and maintain strong relationships. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS degree or equivalent gained through relevant experience; logistics industry preferred Minimum 2 years' inside sales experience; demonstrated ability to achieve quota Proven ability to create mutually beneficial customer relationships Strong phone presence; excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills (English) Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint WE ARE VANGUARD We are an industry stalwart and a true innovator.
