Job **** Manufacturing Engineer (Manufacturing Technician-Engineer)***** 1 year contract, possible temp to hire***** Lexington KY 40511 and Columbia, Missouri 65202Support roleFocused on shipping/packaging assembly, execution.Manufacturing, preferably packaging experience, SAP knowledge inside a manufacturing plant.**Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar.3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering.Experience with component replenishment / kanban / related material handling tasks.Experience in a new product development environment or related stage gate process awareness.Knowledge of verification and validation process / approvals process for new product development.Proven ability to work successfully in a multicultural virtual environment across various functions (design engineering, purchasing, quality, marketing, finance, mfg. operations and others).Motivated self-starter, who able to work autonomously in parallel on multiple projects.Facilitator to drive problem solving and project management activities.**5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering.5+ years of experience in packaging / shipping processes and related equipment.Experience in SAP production software.
