Senior Equipment Technician

A leading semiconductor company is seeking a Senior Equipment Technician to join their team in San Jose, CA! This is a permanent, direct-hire role.Day to **This Senior Equipment Technician help in leading the junior technicians on the team. This individual will work hand in hand with the technicians, assisting with repairs, and acting as the most senior escalation point of contact. The San Jose location does have more legacy equipment and is in need of someone who has experience creating custom solutions for tools that are longer being supported by the OEM. This can include fabrication of new parts, identifying second hand replacement components, or reviewing various online resources to resolve the issue at hand. The Supervisor will also be tasked with ensuring the team is meeting weekly / quarterly priorities, tracking preventative maintenance tasks are being completed on time, and communicating updates regularly to senior leadership.7+ years of experience a with equipment maintenance within a high volume production environmentMust be a subject matter expert with equipment that is managed by Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)Experience resolving challenging escalations and educating team members on best practices to grow their skillset***$75k to $90k annually.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as additional benefits.
